The event featured the free manicures and eyebrow threading as promised, and there was also a rather delicious selection of doughnuts and chocolate brownies. You could also receive a free make over, and of course buy a massive range of products and the limited edition copy of Marie Claire. It was really quite when I arrived mid-afternoon, but the staff were getting prepared for what they anticipated to be a really busy evening!
If you're a make up addict like me though, the key incentive to go down is that Maybelline are selling their new gel eyeliner in the store: this is the only place you'll be able to get it in the world before next Spring, as it isn't being released to regular stores until SS11. I definitely recommend checking it out if you're in the area (and make an appointment for the treatments in advance, otherwise you could stand around waiting for hours!)
