Supermodel Express: all change please!!!!

If the rumours on Vogue.co.uk are to be believed, it's all change at the Versace and YSL fashion houses for Spring/Summer 2008.

Gisele is leaving YSL to join Versace. Current muse at Versace Kate Moss is leaving to join (you guessed it) YSL. Meanwhile, Claudia Schiffer is jumping into Chanel after Karl Lagerfeld was impressed with her performance sporting Chanel's cruise collection.

All this chopping and changing might seem a little confusing, but it makes perfect sense to me: Why limit yourself to one lovely collection of designer clothes when you could have two!?

I Heart Topshop!

Ah Topshop! The mecca of Saturday morning style seekers the nation over. Although you run the risk of looking slightly like a clone, and I hate eveything about the Kate Moss range, everyone loves something about Topshop. If you need a 1 stop shop and want to look bang on trend then Topshop is the perfect place!

This sequin shift dress for £60 is perfect Saturday night material. Team with opaque tights, sky high heels, and

Lovely Lily Allen covers up!

Unlike some of her more scantily clad celebrity counterparts, Lily
Allen looked lovely and warm at the premiere of Brick Lane in London's Leicester Square last night.

Lily wore a metallic mini dress with a gold-buttoned masculine navy blazer. She teamed this with opaque tights, skyscraper heels, and a quilted black bag. The metallic trend is everywhere at the minute, and masculine jackets are a must-have to balance this season's feminine dresses.
That makes lovely Lily bang on trend, although (call me old fashioned) I really don't like navy and black worn together: maybe Lily needs to get herself another jacket?

If you're still shopping for your perfect winter jacket, or if you want to buy another and avoid a coat-clash fiasco (à la Lily) then check this space out tomorrow, when we will be showing you 3 of the best coats from the high street. Because coats are like shoes: you can never have enough. Actually handbags are like that too...and dresses...and...

And if you're looking for a one stop shop for your new-season needs, then there's nowhere else to be.

Some of Topshops ranges are only for a gamine figure (think skinny jeans, skimpy tops and waistcoats) but as a self-confessed accessories addict I just resist their bags, hats and jewelry. Here's my pick of the best. I just hope Santa's reading!

Leather oversized metallic clutch with optional chain handle. £35.00

Wooden Buckle Elasticised belt. £25.00

Cable Slubby Pom Pom Hat. £10.00
